Mei Nagano has been cast in the role of Anzu in the series. It was released in the United States on July 13, 2023.

This dark fantasy mystery crime psychological thriller TV series is adapted from the same manga series by Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba.

The plot follows an intelligent reserved college student Light Yagami who comes across a black notebook known as the titular Death Note which is able to kill anybody whose name is written on its pages.

Light, as a vigilante, begins to use that notebook to eliminate evil people from the world attracting the attention of L, an enigmatic international detective, who stars in a game of cat and mouse.

Masataka Kubota and Kento Yamazaki portrayed Light and L respectively in the series. It ran from 5th July to 13th September 2015 on NTV.
