The Hunger Games is one of the finest dystopian novels in literary history. Thus, the film bears a lot of responsibility for getting the adaptation right. However, the film is ready.

In addition to hinting at the film’s story, the latest trailer delves more into Snow’s character, exploring his motives for participating in the Hunger Games. The trailer also spends much time with Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the chief game maker, displaying her scary power.

The trailer for The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes features several characters and themes from the earlier Hunger Games trilogy.

This involves both the games and a Flickerman family member who announces them. The rebel anthem “The Hanging Tree” is also used to underline the trailer, which shows repeated views of such a tree to allude to Panem’s early revolt.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is set 64 years before the events of The Hunger Games trilogy and delves deeper into the life of Coriolanus Snow, one of Panem’s most notorious figures. Coriolanus is just 18 years old, so he isn’t yet the despotic figure that spectators would recognize decades later.

Instead, he is the Snow family’s final chance to repair their image, which has suffered dramatically in the post-war Capitol.

With the 10th annual Hunger Games approaching, Coriolanus has another chance to establish his worth as a mentor.

What he doesn’t anticipate is to be matched with Lucy Gray Baird, District 12’s female tribute. As the two prepare for the games, young Coriolanus becomes as captivated with Lucy Grey as the rest of Panem, and they might get a chance to reverse the tides in their favor.
