In the ‘The Other Zoey’ trailer, Josephine Langford gets caught in a love triangle with Drew Starkey and Archie Renaux.
Zoey, a spin on the usual American picture of clever ladies, finds her world turned completely upside down when Zach (Starkey), an exceedingly popular college football player whom she has no interest in and dislikes, suffers from amnesia.
Initially, the two are on entirely different terms, with Zack making snarky and harsh remarks and Zoey mocking his sarcasm and wisecracks. Both have an immediate disgust for one other.
Things worsen as a car rams into Zack, leaving him amnesiac. As the amnesiac improves, Zoey, who is nearly the polar opposite of Zack, becomes his accidental lover. Zack misidentifies her as his girlfriend, whose name is also Zoey.
Zoey, partly to blame for his condition, is now compelled to care for the amnesia-stricken Zack and pretend to be his girlfriend. Things then take a dramatic turn when she connects to Zach’s cousin, Miles (Renaux), with whom she has many interests.
Because they are both intellectuals and computer experts, Zoey is instantly drawn to Miles. But now she’s in a strange predicament full of emotional struggle since, while pretending to be Zack’s girlfriend, Zoey develops love feelings for him.
Pretending to be the ‘other Zoey,’ Zoey now recognizes she has feelings for both of them and doesn’t know who she prefers. It becomes much more complicated when her fictitious romance with Zack becomes natural for her, leaving her to confront her insecurities and make a near-impossible decision.
