In the first teaser for Netflix’s LGBTQ+ teen series Everything Now, eating issues are highlighted.
We get our first glimpse at the star’s character in Netflix’s new miniseries, Everything Now, in a teaser released by Netflix.
Mia, Wilde’s adolescent character, realizes she’s far behind the rest of her friends as she tries to get back into the swing of things after a brief time in a hospital for anorexia. Everything Now appears to have a plot of queer interest baked within the ups and downs of school sadness, similar to the streamer’s mega-hit Heartstopper.

Everything Now | Official Trailer
The trailer begins with Mia leaving her hospitalized recovery life behind to return to her hometown and school, starting afresh. Excited to see old friends again, she notices that time has flown by in the seven months she’s been gone, with her pals all pursuing new interests, passions, and relationships.
Mia comes out of her shell and crafts her bucket list to guarantee she experiences all of the necessary and timeless rites of passage required before graduation and adulthood.
According to the trailer’s quick look at the list, some of the entries include “party,” “get drunk,” “drugs,” “s*x,” and “break the law.”
We see her tick off quite a few of those items at the end of the clip — yet, as the show’s synopsis says, Mia also learns that “not everything in life can be prepared for.”. Mia’s best pals, Becca, Alison, and Cameron, are all introduced in the teaser.
Although it appears from the teaser that not all of these bucket list encounters were extremely great, we are left with a last scene of Mia and her crush exchanging adoring eyes as ‘love’ is ticked off the list. “Marry me,” she considers.
The official summary of the series can be found here.
When Mia, 16, comes home after a long rehabilitation from an eating disorder, she is thrown back into the troubled world of sixth form, only to discover that her peers have moved on with their lives without her.
Mia dives deeply into a world of dating, parties, and first kisses, accompanied by an ever-changing bucket list, three closest friends, and a significant new crush.
