The first trailer for Netflix’s long-awaited animated follow-up Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget has arrived, with the puffy British chickens from 2000’s Chicken Run now attempting to break into an impenetrable chicken farm rather than escape from one.

Rocky Rhodes and Ginger return in the latest trailer for Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, where Aardman Animations brings this fantastic world of poultry to life once more.
The trailer, which was released courtesy of Netflix, where Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget will premiere, teases a fresh adventure for the group, who are returning to our screens over two decades.
Ginger says, “We ran away from a poultry farm last time. This time… we’re going to break in.” The trailer maintains the Chicken Run franchise’s distinctive humor while experimenting with heist film conventions.
The teaser for Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget concludes with Miranda Richardson’s nasty Mrs. Tweedy, who appeared as a rival in the last film.
The film’s official plot summary is provided below:
Ginger has finally discovered her ideal – a peaceful island haven for the entire flock, free from the horrors of the human world – after a daring escape from Tweedy’s farm. Ginger’s happy ending appears complete when she and Rocky have a baby daughter named Molly.
However, all chickens on the mainland confront a new and terrifying menace. Even if it means jeopardizing their hard-won independence, Ginger and her pals are breaking in this time.
With an exciting storyline, it appears like Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget will be outstanding for fans of the original and those unfamiliar with it.

The Cast and Characters.
The original Chicken Run featured one of the best voice casts ever appearing in British animation.
Sawalha and Gibson will not reprise their roles as Ginger & Rocky in the upcoming movie; instead, Thandiwe Newton and Zachary Levi will take on those roles.
Romesh Ranganathan will play Nick instead of Spall, while Daniel Mays will voice Fetcher in place of Daniels. In addition, David Bradley will replace the late Benjamin Whitrow as Fowler. Imelda Staunton, Jane Horrocks, and Lynn Ferguson, who play Bunty, Babs, and Mac, will all return to reprise their roles.
New cast members will also voice new characters in the film, including The Last of Us breakthrough actress Bella Ramsey as Molly, newbie Josie Sedgwick-Davies as Frizzle, and Ted Lasso‘s Nick Mohammed as Dr. Fry.
On December 15, Netflix will release Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget. The first film is accessible on Disney+ & Prime Video.
