In the Invasion Season 2 Episode 2 called ‘Chasing Ghosts,’ the story unfolds with Jamila Huston, who hears the voice of her friend Caspar, who seems to have died while trying to save people from the attacking aliens.

Jamila gets really worried and starts looking for Caspar, but then she realizes that it was just a dream.

Jamila residing in Wellingborough, England, engages in a conversation with her mother regarding her dreams. She tells her mom that she thinks Caspar is still alive and played a role in stopping the aliens. But her mom doesn’t believe it.

Meanwhile, there’s a guy named Trevante Cole. He assisted Caspar and Jamila in their battle against the aliens previously. Now he’s living with his sister’s family in Florida, USA.

But Trevante doesn’t feel very hopeful about humans winning against the aliens. Something scary happens at a party – his nephew almost drowns in a pool, and Trevante saves him.

But he gets really upset and it shows that he’s scared of the aliens. Later, Trevante seeks supplies but gets engrossed in learning about the aliens at a computer-equipped location.

Meanwhile, Jamila discovers the aliens have wrecked safe zones beyond London, leading to deteriorating air quality. She encounters a homeless man gathering supplies for his family and learns about odd occurrences, including a red moon. Trevante, on the other hand, quarrels with his sister.

Jamila says most people want to stay with their families because of the aliens, but Trevante thinks he needs to fight against the aliens.

His sister wants him to fight, but he feels torn. Jamila leaves the safe area to look for Caspar, leaving a letter for her mom.

Jamila is convinced that locating Caspar might hold the solution to surviving the alien invasion. She meets soldiers who tell her the hospital she’s looking for is closed, and the air is bad for her.

But she runs away from them and keeps searching. Trevante’s research leads him to Oklahoma, where there’s a strange drawing similar to Caspar’s.

He travels there and tries to sneak into a military base, but he gets caught and locked up. Jamila also continues her search and finds a clue that could help her find Caspar.

In due course, Trevante uncovers that Caspar is alive and in the process of recuperation. The episode ends with both Jamila and Trevante facing challenges as they try to find their friend and deal with the dangerous alien invasion.

Eventually, she figures out that Caspar is now in a hospital in Paris, a city in France. The problem is, she’s in London and doesn’t have a way to get to Paris.

She meets her friends Alfie and Darwin at a refugee camp nearby, and after talking it over, they agree to help her find Caspar. They search for a way to travel, and they come across a big house with cars in the garage.

Attempting to take a car, their efforts inadvertently trigger the alarm, drawing the attention of the proprietors. As events unfold, they realize the residence belongs to Monty, an individual who previously treated Caspar unkindly during their school days.

Jamila discovers that Monty, along with his younger sister Penny, have taken refuge in the house, waiting for their parents’ return.
