On Monday night, Kanye West unexpectedly appeared on stage with American rapper Travis Scott during their performance at the Circus Maximus in Rome.
At his Utopia show at the historic Circus Maximus on Monday night, Scott revealed the rapper who has officially changed his name to Ye.
It was West’s first public appearance following many contentious anti-Semitic internet statements. His account on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, was shut down for over eight months for encouraging violence until being reactivated last week.
After Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori were photographed in Italy, rumors surrounding the couple were already high. Hip-hop enthusiasts had been daydreaming about the potential of attending the tremendous performance, but those who went needed to prepare for Kanye West to interrupt the show.

It was hard to see Kanye’s reaction to this praise because his head was covered with black fabric. The audience went wild when Kanye entered the stage. He sang “Praise God,” a song by Travis from his “Donda” album.
The accompanying music helped Kanye’s performance, even if the lyrics had a few errors. He further pleased the audience by performing “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” a popular favorite.
Kanye West has suffered due to his politics and choices over the past few years. In a short time, he went through a divorce, lost his Adidas footwear business, displayed virulent antisemitic sentiments, and was banned from every social media platform imaginable.
Kanye West decided to temporarily withdraw from the spotlight after getting remarried. Only the occasional report of his appearance in another place has been made since we last heard from him in a more public context.
This resulted in his deletion from social media, dismissal from the Creative Artists Agency, and the breakup of his business agreements for the Yeezy line of sneakers and clothing. With Kanye’s partnership accounting for more than 10% of Adidas’ $2 billion profit in 2021, the firm specifically felt the effects.
Scott’s fourth studio album, Utopia, which had the best streaming week for a full-length album so far this year, earned him his first number-one album last week.
Global celebrities, including Beyonce, The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, and SZA, are included. It happened after a Texas grand jury declined to charge the US rapper in a criminal case over a deadly crowd surge at his Astroworld music event in Houston in 2021 that claimed the lives of 10.
