The Witcher Season 4 is renewed or not, let’s find out the details you need to know about the upcoming season of the series.
Expect a new Geralt soon!
The Witcher, Netflix’s key fantasy series, just completed its third season, and fans are keen to hear how long they will have to wait until they return to The Continent.
When the show returns, there will be one significant difference: Henry Cavill will be replaced in the starring role of Geralt by The Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth, a casting move that has been met with major backlash.
Here’s all we know thus far about Season 4 of The Witcher on Netflix.
Release Date of The Witcher Season 4

The Witcher Season 4 filming was reportedly scheduled to begin in September 2023, giving us the next season sometime in the latter half of 2024.
Unfortunately, the new season’s production has been delayed, most likely due to the continuing WGA and SAG strikes. For the time being, filming is set to begin next year.
If filming starts very early in 2024, we may still see a December 2024 release, but that appears unlikely, so plan on 2025 for the following season.

What should we anticipate in The Witcher Season 4?

Ciri’s being with The Rats will likely be a significant feature in the upcoming season. Geralt’s plot is more typical, as he, Jaskier, and Milva set off on their voyage to Nilfgaard.
They encounter numerous intriguing people along the journey in Baptism of Fire, including a vampire named Regis.
The dwarf Zoltan Chivay will appear in the show, and Geralt will almost certainly meet up with Cahir again.
Because the show has changed things, Yennefer’s plot is more convoluted. Her political activities with the Lodge of Sorceresses will likely be explored further.
The Lodge forces Yennefer to help them find Ciri for their purpose in Baptism of Fire. Francesca has Yennefer imprisoned within a jade figurine. Fringilla is the one who assists Yennefer in escaping.
Watching how this plays out and whether things change in the show adaptation will be fascinating.
