We can accept that Season 2 won’t release this year because the cast will be through filming the program in December 2023.

Ryan Condal, the show’s creator, already hinted that Emily Carey, who portrayed the young Alicent, would not be returning for the upcoming season. Names like Emily Beecham are among the new performers anticipated to join the cast.
