For Zeynep, it’s the last straw, and she flees Munich for the Croatian island home her mother secretly purchased years before in the hopes of finding peace and herself again.
Zeynep makes the snap decision to go to that cottage, hoping to find the same. Even that, though, has a problematic beginning because getting to this distant location is a hardship in and of itself.
She eventually finds the location, but she has anticipated something else. If only the prior owner, Josip, an authentic islander, wasn’t still residing there.
Zeynep is determined to learn what her mother would have wanted and, in the process, achieve happiness in her own life, despite waking up nude next to a stranger (Josip) and experiencing some remarkable occurrences on the island.
However, a little excursion grows into much more, and the movie will show us that it may even become her permanent home.
