While we still hope for a trailer, Netflix released a new teaser of Bling Empire: New York on December 13th. Dorothy seemed to be having a more challenging time adjusting to New York than she had imagined.
The release date of the buzzy Netflix series was announced alongside a short clip of Dorothy Wang, who just came to New York from Los Angeles. The reality star stumbles along the street, asking each car, “Are you available?” until she eventually gets a ride.
Dorothy Wang switches from the main series in Los Angeles to the upcoming spinoff. Fans of Bling Empire will recall her appearance in season 2 as a buddy of Jaime Xie & Christine Chiu and an opponent of Kane Lim.
In the previous teaser, Dorothy is searching for new guys to date, expecting to have more luck in New York than in Los Angeles. The teaser also discusses Tina Leung’s career as a fashion IT girl and teases a lot of group rivalries.
Based on what we can see, the series is promising. Perhaps the only thing missing is Anna Shay, the Queen Bee.

The Cast of Bling Empire: New York
Netflix has not disclosed the actors for the forthcoming spinoff Bling Empire: New York in the trailer. However, Dorothy Wang, who appeared in Bling Empire Season 2, is the only person we know about the cast.
The reality star previously participated in Season 2 of Bling Empire and is the daughter of millionaire Roger Wang. Dorothy has also been in reality television series such as Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.
Fans will also witness It-girl Tina Leung among a bustling group of stylish and wealthy Asian Americans from New York. We also meet Stephen and Deborah in the teaser, characterized as charming and vindictive. Aside from this, viewers will also see Richard and Dorothy.
Jeff Jenkins, Ross Weintraub, Russell Jay-Staglik, Elise Chung, Lenid Rolov, and Reinout Oerlemans served as executive producers for the season’s eight episodes.
