MONSTA X Announced Their Comeback.

Monsta X is a South Korean boy band that has six members in it which include Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. The group made its debut with its first EP Trespass in May 2015. The group is soon going to make a comeback next year.

On December 11, Monsta X through their official Instagram account announced their comeback with their twelfth mini-album titled “Reason.” This comeback is marked after almost 9 months since they released ‘Shape of You in April this year.

The mini-album “Reason” will be released on January 9, 2023, at 6 p.m. KST. The fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the mini-album.

Monsta X released their debut studio album in March 2017. The group’s first English album, All About Luv, debuted in 2020 and took up the rank of five on the US Billboard 200 and seven on the US Rolling Stone Top 200.

The group was given the title “Next Generation Beast Idol.” Monsta X was chosen in December 2015 to serve as the seventh promotional ambassador for Girl Scouts Korea. Through the development of TwoTuckGom, NCSoft and Monsta X announced their partnership in June 2020.

The name of the group, “Monsta X,” refers to “Monsters conquering the K-pop scene” and “My star” (Mon means “My” in French). X represents an unknowable existence. French for “my baby,” “Monbebe” is also the name of their fandom.

They performed at KCON 2015 in Los Angeles 2015, marking their first time touring the country. In addition, they won the “1theK Performance Award” at the 2015 Melon Music Awards and the “Next Generation Asian Artist” prize at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

The First Live “X-Clan Origins” by Monsta X, which took place from July 16 to 17, 2016 was sold out in five minutes and was the band’s first solo performance.

With their first Japanese single album, which featured Japanese versions of “Hero” and “Stuck,” Monsta X made their Japanese debut on May 17, 2017, under the new Universal Music label Mercury Records Tokyo.

The group took part in the 2022 Korean Culture Festival, which was held at Seoul Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea, on October 7th, 2022.
