Freddie Prinze Jr. is returning to the big screen for this festive season. On October 19, Netflix released the trailer for “Christmas With You,” which appears to be the perfect combination of melody, love, and celebrations charm.
According to IMDB, this is Prinze Jr.’s first comeback to a big motion picture since 2008’s “Jack and Jill vs. the World.” “As scared as I was about returning to filmmaking, I couldn’t have chosen a more charming picture or a more amazing crew to work with,” the actress told Tudum. “They rekindled my passion for this industry.”
Since 2008, Prinze Jr. has portrayed a wide range of characters in animated movies, and he has also acted in a number of TV episodes, notably 2021’s “Punky Brewster.” But the actor is most known for his filmography, in which he co-starred with his future spouse, Sarah Michelle Gellar, in “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in 1998.
Gellar, who also took a break from performing during the last decade, earlier spoke about her and her husband’s choice to return to showbiz after taking a break to raise their children.
Charlotte and Rocky, the couple’s two kids, will be 13 and 10 in September 2022, respectively. “They come to a point where they’re a lot more autonomous,” Gellar explained. “Because of the introduction of FaceTime and other technologies, you can continue to be linked in a different manner — and it merely felt like they were at a stage at which they could manage it.”
Gellar and Prinze Jr. are clearly loving parents, and Prinze Jr. appears to be preparing to play another devoted father in “Christmas With You.”

What is the Plot of “Christmas With You”?
“Christmas With You” depicts the story of Angelina, a pop singer who is forced to write a Christmas song against her will.
Angelina flies to small-town New York after discovering that a little fan’s Christmas desire is to see her, and ends up meeting the child’s widower father, who also happens to be a singer and composer.
