Chloë Grace Moretz Slays The Suit And Cropped Top Look

Chloë Grace Moretz Update: The 25-year-old attended Comic Con with other Hollywood power players including Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jamie Lee Curtis, so it was only right that she dressed the part. However, Moretz hasn’t lost her individuality, as you can see in the pantsuit she rocked below.

Moretz attended Comic-Con in a classic black pantsuit with a futuristic silver cropped top representing The Peripheral. The top had a high neckline with a triangle waist revealing her toned midriff. She paired it with black sunglasses, platform sandals, and a clutch bag. In terms of hair, makeup, and jewelry, Moretz kept it all simple with small hoop earrings and a nude face palette. Chloe then tucked her blonde hair behind one ear to show off her multiple piercings.

The Peripheral is a sci-fi TV series coming to the Amazon Prime Network this month. It navigates a technology-influenced future to the point of an altered society until a woman, Chloë Grace Moretz character, Flynne Fisher, finds an alternate reality. Unfortunately, that reality isn’t much better than her current life and she has to face some darkness. The first teaser dropped in September, but the trailer just came out three days ago and shows that it’s going to be a thrilling action ride.

Moretz’s season one premiere outfit confirms our theory that her sci-fi experience inspired her new style. She wore another futuristic outfit this time a two-piece with a cropped top and a maxi skirt with a thigh-high front slit. An opening at the front of the skirt revealed her toned long legs, which showed off her silver strappy stiletto sandals and bare painted toenails. Like her Comic-Con look, Moretz wore her hair and makeup understated, keeping the focus on her top.

Last December, the actress starred in another sci-fi film as a pregnant woman living in a dystopian world ruled by machines. Mother/Android was released exclusively on Hulu for streaming and received negative reviews.

From a paltry 32% on Rotten Tomatoes to a 4.9/10 on IMDb, critics barely had anything good to say about this film. However, we hope The Peripheral issues a positive response as redemption for Moretz.
