Apple iPhone 15: Leaks, and All the Rumors to Date.

This far in advance, pre-release information regarding the forthcoming Apple iPhone 15 is already available. That’s not entirely surprising, given that Apple leaks often occur years before a product’s release.

So far, the only true Apple iPhone 15 design rumor is that Apple will eventually remove the Lightning port on its phones in 2023. However, despite rumors to the contrary, Mark Gurman maintains that Apple has no plans to bring fingerprint scanning back to top iPhones soon.

It’s a pity because this capability has been missing from top-tier Apple devices since the iPhone 8. Touch ID would have come in useful during the epidemic months when everyone was wearing masks, and Face ID was struggling to keep up.

The only pricing speculation for the iPhone 15 line is the iPhone 15 Ultra – a new phone that might replace an iPhone 15 Pro Max – starting at $1,199 at best.

The iPhone 15 will be available in September 2023. Apple typically reveals new phones about ten days before they are released, with pre-orders starting a week before the launch date.

One of the first rumors about the iPhone 15 is that it would include a new camera. After an increase in megapixels to 48MP on the iPhone 14 Pro versions, the iPhone 15 may finally get a periscope camera for enhanced long-range shooting and zoom capabilities.

This is something that Android devices on our list of the best camera phones have done for a long time, and it would be nice to see Apple finally provide it. But, again, we’d be shocked if this wasn’t initially Pro-only — assuming it ever arrives in 2023.

News, Rumors, and Leaks About the iPhone 15

According to one claim, Apple is developing the 3nm A17 Bionic processor for the iPhone 15.

The iPhone 15 is expected to change in 2023. The EU has informed Apple that it must include USB-C charging connections on iPhones starting in 2024, but many fans believe that Apple will embrace the standard charging sooner, in 2023, and at least one leak suggests that this is the case.

We’ve also heard from other sources that every iPhone 15 model will receive the Dynamic Island, although the basic phone and iPhone 15 Plus will still have a 60Hz screen.

Apple has separated the iPhone line into the standard’ and ‘Pro ranges for several generations, with the latter providing more functionality than the former; the only main change within each range is the screen size. However, with the iPhone 15, the Pro models may become even more fragmented since the ‘Pro Max appears to be on its way out.

According to a significant leaker, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be called the iPhone 15 Ultra, reflecting Apple’s use of this suffix elsewhere, and will include additional capabilities above the iPhone 15 Pro.

A possible price hike is a significant concern, and we’d want to hear more concrete reports regarding camera upgrades. However, given that the iPhone 15 is still a year away, there’s plenty of time for more exciting speculation to appear.
