The LG S95QR corrects a few earlier mistakes, brings some beneficial innovation in the form of a new up-firing center speaker, and, most importantly, produces a magnificently dynamic and immersive experience that’s almost as at home with music as with full-blooded movie mixes.
The primary soundbar speaker’s low-profile design is small and beautiful, measuring 47.2 x 2.5 x 5.3 inches (L x H x D).
The rears are likewise surprisingly small for objects capable of creating three channels of sound, and they have the same nice brushed finish on any of their bodywork that isn’t a felt speaker cover as the main soundbar and subwoofer. Their angled fronts offer them more elegance than standard rear speakers.
The subwoofer is, to be sure, more about function than design, but with its rounded corners and pleasing finish, it’s less essential to hide it down the side of a sofa or beneath a sideboard like other subwoofers.

Sound quality
It is, without a doubt, the greatest soundbar LG has ever produced.
As a multiple-speaker home theater system, it’s nice to know that the LG’s strengths lie in providing 5.1 movie soundtracks from services like Netflix and Amazon (or linked up to a Blu-Ray disc player), which is where it shines.
This capacity to project sound so far from all four physical pieces of the soundbar is outstanding, resulting in such a fantastic three-dimensional sound world surrounding you with Dolby Atmos mixes that you forget the speakers are there. That’s pretty much the ideal Dolby Atmos setup.
The main difference is that the power of music is used to create an open, clear, energetic, and detailed sound instead of pushing for the bombast and impact that film mixes require.
The subwoofer, too, continues to amaze with its agility, sounding better timed and much more securely tied to the bottom end of the main soundbar’s midrange than we generally hear with soundbars of this type during the music.
Finally, because the subwoofer takes so long to kick in, it is prominent to notice the frequency inadequacies of the LG soundbar. It appears to sense the presence of an audio signal ten seconds or more after the soundbar begins to play.

Additional Features
The LG comes with various setup features, including AI, to automatically adjust sound output levels to your specific area and surroundings, which can be accessed via the LG SoundBar management app.
Auto low latency mode (ALLM) is also available for gamers that value in-sync onscreen action and audio, and Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant speech assistants are supported.
The audio output of LG’s 2022 soundbar series, like that of several of its most recent soundbars, has been adjusted by Meridian Audio, which turns two-channel stereo sound into a multi-channel audio experience for surround sound speaker configurations.

Bottomline
The absence of musical integration between the primary soundbar, subwoofer, and surround speakers results in an unsettling sound balance that adds little to a regular watching experience beyond the built-in speakers on a TV.
This soundbar kit might be a terrific one-box solution for your entertainment demands with a bit extra aural harmony. However, as it stands, the LG S95QR soundbar flagship bundle has further improved to be a top competitor at a price.
