According to a recent interview with Vogue, Jennifer Lawrence opened up about the pay gap in Hollywood. She expressed her frustration by stating that no matter how much she does, she still won’t get paid like artists because of her vagina.

She said: “It doesn’t matter how much I make. Am I still going to get paid as much as that guy for my vagina?” Lawrence also addressed the sexism and misogyny of American politics, culminating in the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade.

In addition, Jennifer Lawrence openly said that she had two miscarriages before giving birth to her son. She revealed that she got pregnant in her 20s and miscarried in Montreal. Jennifer also revealed that she suffered a second miscarriage while filming Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up.

“I remember thinking about it a million times when I was pregnant. I thought about the things that were happening to my body. And I had a great pregnancy. I had a very happy pregnancy. But every second of my life was different. And sometimes I thought: What if I was forced to do it? said the actress.

The Oscar winner heads to the Toronto International Film Festival this month for the world premiere of her new drama “Causeway,” which premieres Nov. 4 on Apple.
