Bella Hadid In Tiniest Bikini Top Ever

Of course, Bella Hadid is no stranger to slaying bikinis, but the model took things to the next level in a recent beach photoshoot posted on social media. This top is so tiny, the nipples are so close to Instagram freedom, they feel it.

It appears to be assembled from two refined pieces of driftwood held together by a thin chain and good charms. It’s all very mermaid chic in a way that feels more Calypso than Ariel. Not that I can see anyone literally swimming in this thing, but that’s clearly not the point.

On Thursday, the supermodel took to Instagram to share one of her signature captionless photos, detailing behind-the-scenes moments from a beach day spent shooting for an i-D magazine.

Skipping the typical swimsuit, Hadid wore a much less practical but no less revealing top for the shoot, which consisted of the tiniest Jacquemus chain bra held together only by brown heart-shaped pendants and a yellow star.

Bella accessorized the messy look with a cut-out white bolero top and a matching wrap maxi skirt with a voluminous tulle underlay, both also from the fashion house. The model opted for a no-makeup bronze look to complete the ensemble and wore her brown hair in wet waves.

In an interview accompanying Hadid’s photo shoot, the model opened up about what it was like entering the industry and dealing with impostor syndrome.

“During that part of my life, I was so out of shape, I distanced myself so much, I was so confused by what people saw of me,” she told the publication. “I still, even now, see comments on Instagram when I’m sitting on the couch and I’m like, ‘Are they talking about me?’ I don’t understand how I got to this point where people either appreciate my work or know who I am.”

Later, Hadid added that staying true to herself is the only way she can keep her sanity in such a wild career. “People can make up stories about me; they can create whatever version of me they want in their heads,” Bella said. “But I think the truth and the light will always come out eventually. My truth, who I really am and what I stand for, will come out.”
