SoundMagic E11BT Price, Design, Performance, and Much More

SoundMagic E11BT: SoundMagic has established a solid reputation in the market for “reasonably priced headphones that are still a significant upgrade over the freebies that came with your smartphone.”

The SoundMagic E11BTs are Bluetooth versions of the five-star wired SoundMagic E11Cs. They are much more than just two buds, a cable, and a Bluetooth transmitter. They have a soft, pliable neckband and are sweat and water resistant to IPX4.

SoundMagic E11BT: Price

The Soundmagic E11BT wireless earphones are priced at £69.95/$74.99. But you wouldn’t know it by looking at them or listening to the audio produced by these neck buds.

The E11BTs look similar to the wired E11Cs, but with one important difference: the buds are now connected by a neckband and connect to your device wirelessly. Thanks to its flat design, the neckband is sturdy and feels very comfortable against your neck.

Despite the low price, the earbuds are made of aluminum and have a hand-painted finish, giving them a premium appearance. In addition, they’re small and ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your ear. When paired with one of three ear tips that come with the earbuds.

Performance

SoundMagic E11BT

Vocals sound clear and smooth on Fleet Foxes’ ‘Blue Ridge Mountains,’ thanks to their custom-tuned drivers – as dynamic drivers. They also provide a substantial amount of bass due to the relatively large volumes of air they displace as they vibrate.

We tried them out on Kanye West’s ‘Flashing Lights’ and were impressed by the thumping bass and unctuous synth strings.

Low-frequency response is deep and rapid, with straight-edged entry into bass notes and equally disciplined exits. At first glance, this may make the E11BTs appear slightly lightweight. Still, they’re as punchy as any price-comparable competitor.

Battery Life

The E11BTs has a small control box/universal three-button remote on the left wire. In addition, it has a microphone, a battery, volume/up/down buttons, and a call answer/hang up button.  A Bluetooth pairing button, a USB charging input, and a 24bit DAC to handle incoming digital signals.

Each earbud’s aluminum housing is magnetized at the back, so they click together very satisfyingly when not in use. In addition, SoundMagic has installed a 10mm driver on the inside. Which the company claims can produce a frequency response ranging from a startlingly low 20Hz to a dog whistle-like 20kHz.

Features

Compared to previous generations of Bluetooth headphones. The Soundmagic E11BTs support Bluetooth 5.0, improving the operating range and, more importantly, sound quality. However, while Bluetooth 5.0 support is excellent, the battery life has most impressed us at Tech Advisor. Despite their small size, the Soundmagic E11BTs provide 48 to 60 hours of music playback on a single charge, depending on volume and other factors.

You might be concerned about their security if you’re considering purchasing these in-ears to use while working out or running. They generally fit snugly in your ear, but if you’re worried about the buds falling out mid-run. Try a pair with wingtips that fit into the conch of your ear for added stability.
