Redmi Buds 3 Pro: Price, Design, Specs and Much More

Redmi Buds 3 Pro is one of the top-notch wireless earpieces, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand is well known for producing excellent budget and mid-range phones that frequently deliver more performance and features than their price tags suggest.

The truly wireless earbuds market is one of the most competitive segments in technology these days, with seemingly every manufacturer aiming to provide as many options as possible. Xiaomi and its Redmi sub-brand are not new to the market, and their most recent effort is the Redmi Buds 3 Pro, also known as the AirDots 3 Pro in China.

Redmi Buds 3 Pro: Price in India

Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro is accessible in Blue, White, and Pink and costs Rs 2,999. The earbuds will be available online at Amazon.in, Mi.com, and Mi Home.

Design

Over the last few years, wireless earbuds have settled into two major design schools, either protruding stems or a smaller, bulbous frame that keeps most of the casing in your ear. Xiaomi has chosen the latter, with a touch-sensitive panel on the bud’s outer surface allowing access to the various controls.

The earbuds themselves are small and snug in the ears. They have an infrared sensor for automatic wear detection, so the audio playback automatically stops when the earbuds are removed from the ears. The earbuds’ outer surface is touch-sensitive, allowing you to use taps to control music playback, answer or reject calls, and summon the voice assistant.

Audio Quality

We were ecstatic to learn that the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro have a dual-driver setup because such an audio setup generally improves overall audio quality. Xiaomi’s own dual-driver wired in-ear monitors released a few years ago, had good audio quality for their price. We had yet to encounter a pair of dual-driver earphones that sounded subpar. On the other hand, the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro changed our minds due to their overly bass-heavy audio tuning.

The noise cancellation is adequate, doing a good job of masking the din of a city, a crowded train, or a loudly excited family, but it cannot completely block out the outside world.

Redmi Buds 3 Pro: Battery Life

The battery life on the Buds 3 Pro is advertised as six hours without ANC at 50 percent volume and a total of 28 hours with the case. This is where TWS earbuds shine. We listened to music for 3-4 hours each day during the review period. Even at full volume, we couldn’t drain the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro on a single charge in a week. This is unquestionably superior to most other sub-3,000 true wireless earphones on the market.
