Workin Moms Season 7 Will Premiere, But The News Is Bittersweet

Workin Moms Season 7 Update: The program, which was produced by Catherine Reitman (who also stars in it), has struck a chord with viewers because of its realistic, funny, and refreshing perspective on parenthood and the fact that it doesn’t avoid having uncomfortable questions about women in the workplace. Fans want more of that, especially in light of the significant cliffhanger from the season finale.

There are some specifics available, however, they are relatively few. Here is what we currently know.

Have ‘Workin’ Moms Received A Season 7 Renewal?

Yes! Reitman also revealed the show’s renewal and then revealed its cancellation in a video posted to Twitter.

“Making this program has been the journey of my life, thanks to our amazing viewers. With a three-month-old and a two-year-old in tow, Philip and I started season one to tell the tales of four imperfect moms who dared to venture outside of the confines of their nursery.

Going to work every day, whether it be in the writing room with our fantastic writers, on the set with our outstanding actors, or in post with the best producing team in the business, has solidified in me the value of making meaningful stories with people who understand it, she said.

Workin Moms Season 7

But like every tale, there must be a conclusion, said Reitman. So I’m declaring season seven to be our final season with love and thanks. The greatest gratitude goes out to our sponsors, CBC and Netflix, for supporting a program that shines a light on the murkiest aspects of parenthood.

I recognize those of you who have approached me on the street to express your admiration for the program. You are heard. And I appreciate it. Go after them, moms!

‘Workin’ Moms Season 7 Release Date:

Understandably, a Netflix release date hasn’t been set since the Season 7 renewal announcement is still so recent. The new season, however, has reportedly begun production and will make its television debut on CBC and CBC Gem in the winter of 2023, per a press statement. Shortly after the initial network run concludes, a release on Netflix and other international platforms will happen. So, yes, just a moment.

Spoilers:

Who will appear in the seventh season of Workin’ Moms? So yet, very little is known. We do know that Reitman refers to the last season as a “love letter” to both fans and her father, who passed away earlier this year, and considers it both “hilarious” and “very emotional.”

Of course, we need to know right away if Anne is alright after that final Season 6 episode. Fans will have to settle for rewatching Seasons 1 through 6 on Netflix for the time being.
