What had happened in Evil Season 3 Episode 4?
September 26th, 2019 was the date when Evil’s first-ever premiered on the famous Colombia Broadcasting System. It was renewed for the second season in October of the same year. The second season was aired on Paramount in June 2021. In July of that year, the third season was confirmed which became available on the 12th of last month.
As we know Herbers, Colter, and Mandvi are the major characters of the series who investigate the supernatural incidents around them. Herbers, the forensic psychologist, is a woman of science and logic. She doesn’t believe in demonic incidents or any supernatural occurrence. But through the course of events, the foundation of her belief system got sabotaged. Colter is a journalist who is studying to become a Catholic priest. Mandvi works as the technical expert of Colter. He provides scientific explanations for supernatural incidents.
The fifth episode is going to be released on the 10th of this month. During the wait, the dilemma of the priest is hammering. The Demon of the Road literally takes us to somewhat of a demonic experience. The church is pushing Sister Andrea to retire. But she is firmly convinced not to give up. She visits Dr. Kurt Boggs for a psychiatric evaluation to prove herself competent enough. David gets a call for help from a woman. Jacqueline wants David to take over the case of her husband, which looks like a case of possession.
As usual David along with Kristen and Ben visits Jacqueline’s husband, Jason. Jason saw something peculiar on the highway. He was followed home by a strange figure. It comes out to be a regular complaint by the truck drivers of the area. Even highway, 13A is named as the Ghost Highway by local people. They start their investigation through the ghost frequency. In the meantime, Jason disappears. David, looking for Jason, is attacked by a demon. Fortunately, he is saved by a vision of an angel.

During the ending of the episode, it is revealed that the ghost of the highway is nothing but a fake construction. Using the technology to catch the demonic frequency the trio reaches to the end of the road. There they find a garage with a drone and other high-tech equipment, which are responsible for the distortion of the frequency. Kristen goes forward to destroy the settings.
Afterward, they reach the church. David there stands for the sister. The Vatican agent Victor LeConte tells David about his peculiar experience on the highway. It comes forward to him that the drone, apparently responsible for the incidents on 13A belongs to Russ Owlman. He is a part of the demonic houses. According to LeConte, Owlman committed suicide and his soul is still there.
David is even praised by LeConte as he put an end to the events. But David is confronted by himself further. He is partially sure that it was only LeConte who killed Owlman. David’s dilemma tops the ending as he becomes unsure of being a part of the Vatican and destroying the demonic houses.
