Realme X7 Max 5G: First Device with MediaTek Dimensity 1200

Realme phones are more performance-oriented and are compatible. They are one of the few real competitors in the mid-range series. Realme X7 was the first phone to launch on June 04, 2021. It was first launched with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor.

Device Design: Realme X7 Max has more like Realme GT 5G design. The rear of the device has a plastic matt finish back panel. The sides have a plastic frame. The right side has a power button, along with a volume controller on the left side. The bottom has a headphone jack surprisingly, a USB-C to charge, and a speaker grill. The top has a noise-canceling microphone. The sim tray has dual nano sim slots.

Display: Realme X7 Max has a compact 6.4-inch display. It is a Super AMOLED panel, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000nits. The screen-to-body ratio of phones is 85.9%. It has a 1080 X 2400 resolution and 20:9 ratio. The front display is protected by Dragontail Glass which is similar to Gorilla Glass protection.

Specifications: Realme X7 Max had the first in segment MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It is one of the best-performing processors in the mid-range. Although, out of the box, the phone has Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 11.

Realme X7 Max 5G The phone is upgradable to Android 12. The UI and the processor are aligned so well to give maximum benchmark scores. It almost competes with mid-range smartphones. The X7 Max is available in two variants:
8GB RAM + 128GB ROM
12GB RAM + 256GB ROM
The RAM type used is LPDDR4X and ROM type is UFS 3.1.

Camera Specifications: Realme X7 Max has a decent triple camera setup. The primary camera has a 64MP resolution along with 8MP ultra-wide camera with 119° FOV. The macro camera has a 2MP resolution. The rear camera setup can record 4K videos at 30/60FPS. The front camera has a 16MP resolution. It can record videos at 1080p @ 30FPS. this camera module is almost similar to Realme GT 5G.

Battery and Connectivity: The battery backup of Realme X7 Max is 4500mAh. It can last for up to a day, with normal work. There are all types of sensors available on this device, along with an under-display fingerprint reader and face unlock. The phone has a dual sim, which supports 5G and 4G VoLTE. It also has career aggregation support. The Wi-Fi version is 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.

Realme X7 Max is a year old phone, but since it has a flagship processor and not too old design. It can be considered as an option in 2022.
