During the conversation, Bobby Brown further talked about how other cast members like Finn Wolfhard believe Hawkins is the polar opposite of the 1980s California. Being away from their native place, Hawkins made the characters helpless and abandoned. The volume also depicts their struggle to escape from the place they were in.
It is not hidden from anyone that in volume 1 of the fourth season, both Eleven and Will met with the whole different surroundings being away from Hawkins.
