What does this device offer? The box of Xiaomi 11X Pro has a transparent case, with the device, along with a 33W fast charger, and a USB – A to USB-C charging port. There are a few documents and a headphone jack to the USB-C dongle which justifies that the device doesn’t have an audio jack.
Built of the device: The Xiaomi 11X Pro has 3 different shades of which 2 colors get a metallic finish and the black color has a gloss finish. The back of the device is made up of glass and the sides are of plastic. The right of the device has a volume control with a lock/unlock button.
The bottom of the has a USB-C charging port with a Sim Tray and speaker grill. The top of the device has a speaker grill along with an IR blaster.
The front of the device has Gorilla Glass Victus protection which makes the device very durable. The case on the device is loose and doesn’t fit well, but it might give sufficient durability to the smartphone.
Display: Xiaomi 11X has a 6.67″, E4 AMOLED display with 120Hz Refresh Rate and 300Hz touch sampling. It is a vibrant display with saturated colors. The device does upscale the graphics and boosts the colors and quality of the media, thanks to AI. The touch does feel a lot smoother because of the 120Hz display.
Performance: The phone is equipped with Snapdragon 870 processor which is tuned in with two specifications. One of which is 6GB RAM+ 128GB ROM or the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM. This processor is 7nm based and performs decently with this device because the MIUI is not well optimized with the chipset.
It would be fixed by the company with several updates. The device can’t show its max performance due to MIUI bloatware and adware, which the company has fixed from MIUI 12.5. The gaming performance on this device is great, and the 120Hz display does help a lot.
Multimedia experience: The device has a stereo speaker setup and with a 6.67″ display, the multimedia experience should be great. 11X can also upscale the resolution of video and can enhance video color contrast.
Camera: The device has a triple camera setup. The primary camera has a 48MP Sony IMX 582 along with a 5MP tele-macro and 8MP ultra-wide camera. The camera on this device works decent, not too perfect.
The processor has to process and tune the images a lot. It does enhance the saturation and sharpness of the picture. The ultra-wide camera captures very naturally. The front camera has a 20MP punch hole camera which also captures decently. For videography, the device does support 4K 30FPS.
Batter and connectivity: 11X has a 4500mAh battery, which should be just sufficient to use for daily usage. The battery could have been more capacity or the device could have got a more fast charger. This device has all sorts of sensors and has Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.1. Xiaomi has given 5G support too.
Final Verdict: Nowadays there are many options in this price range. If Xiaomi could fix bloatware and work upon their camera tech too, then this could have been a successful smartphone too.
