The upcoming South Korean tv show- Alchemy of Souls unveiled its first set of stills featuring Jung So Min, on the 13th of May, 2022.
Alchemy of Souls is a weekend series, to be premiered on tvN at 9:10 pm (KST).
It is a grand romantic fantasy drama about young magicians dealing with heaven & earth. What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim fame director Park Joon Hwa teams up with the Hong Sisters to create this show. The Hong Sisters are known for Master’s Sun, A Korean Odyssey, and Hotel Del Luna.
Jung So Min. will be seen in the role of Moo Duk Yi.
What could be the plot of Alchemy of Souls?
This romantic fantasy is set in a fictional country of Daeno, where the protagonist fights to overcome her lost & twisted fate, thanks to the soul-changing magic. The protagonists & other magicians have to fight their way back to normal lives during which they find love, while their characters experience growth in themselves.
According to the director & the writers, Moo Duk Yi, played by Jung So-Min is the one who has the soul of the best assassin in the country. Moo Duk Yi will become Jang Wook’s attendant & a secret teacher.
The show seems promising in terms of production, acing & magic.

The production team shared photos, which show glimpses of the two different sides of Moo Duk Yi. The caption of the post reads “From an innocent Moo Duk Yi to a charismatic assassin in disguise as a servant; you’ll get to see the new sides and charms of Jung So Min.”
