Crunchyroll Anime Awards Nominations 2022: Anime is now one of the most popular entertainment media in the world. Because Crunchyroll has declared its sixth annual Anime awards nominations which include series, creators, and characters. The nominations come from eight streaming platforms which are Crunchyroll, Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, Funimation, Prime Video, iTunes, and HBO Max.
38 studios are represented by nominations. Among them are OLM, Wit, MAPPA, Madhouse, P.I.C.S, A-1, CloverWorks, LIDENFILMS, TMS Entertainment, Pierrot, Pine Jam, Bones, KyoAni, White Fox, Studio Bind, Ufotable, Production I.G, Millepensee, Gonzo, Toei, A.P.P.P, Trigger, Orange, Kadokawa Pictures, Graphinica, etc.
’86 Eighty-Six’, ‘Oddtaxi’, ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, ‘Attack on Titan Final Season Part 1’ are some key nominations for the best anime category.
15 million votes were cast last year from more than 200 countries and regions, up 35% from the previous year.
The time of voting is from January 18, Tuesday to January 25, Thursday at 5 p.m. PT. On 9th February, Wednesday, winners of the 2022 Crunchyroll Anime Awards will be declared. It can be viewed on Anime Awards website and Crunchyroll social channels. In case of a tie in any of the categories, international judges will cast their vote to decide the winner.
