Black Panther 2 Updates: Black Panther, the first movie was a huge hit and brought in lots of happiness and the Marvel fans awaited its sequel but with the sudden and shocking death of Chadwick Boseman, who is the lead star of Black Panther many questions were asked regarding its sequel.

Despite the loss of the lead star, Black Panther Marvel Studios has thought over its much-anticipated sequel. Digital Trends reported that the second film, its sequel is titled to be “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and is due to be released by 8th May 2022.

1. Marvel Studios has decided to rope in no role or so to say there would be no recasting for the character of Chadwick Boseman. The EVP of Marvel Studios, Victoria Alonso also said that there cannot be another Chadwick Boseman and that the production would never replace him as the King of Wakanda.

2. The sequel of this film projects to make Chadwick proud- Marvel Studios until now has not explained how it will make the Black Panther 2 sans Boseman. Howsoever, it’s clear that he will still be part of the movie and the people behind it wants to give him honor in the sequel.

3. This Film’s sequel will introduce a new superhero- a new cast member is all set to join in; Dominique Thorne as per reports has been roped in to play Riri Williams a.k.a. the next Iron Man/Iron Woman. Riri Williams is a teenager but is clever who will create her own Iron Man suit. She will be known as Ironheart.

In an interview with Comicbook.com, Riri said that they are still shooting for the character in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which can be seen on the screen once it gets released.

4. Expectations in the film?- Disney has announced that the sequel of Black Panther will honor Chadwick’s legacy and portrayal of T’Challa. And since Boseman is not present in the film, the movie will focus on the world of Wakanda and the rich characters introduced in the first film. This film will also focus and likely cover the Black Panther’s history as leader and protector of Wakanda. It will also likely include a back story about T’Challa’s father T’Chaka.

5. Returning of some characters in the sequel- Boseman’s co-stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Daniel Kaluuya, and Martin Freeman will reprise their roles. Some still expect Boseman to appear in the sequel in any form.

Some reports and some rumors suggest that Donald Glover, a musician, writer, and comedian is being counted for some new role in the film apart from Thorne as Iron Heart. Donald Glover also played a small role in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Although there are no details about his potential role, there are speculations that will likely play a villain role.
