James Gunn Teases Guardians of the Galaxy 3’s Gigantic Scale

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Updates: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is in the works and Director James Gunn says that the scale for the third installment in the series is gigantic compared to the first two films.
While James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is set to release on August 6, all eyes seem to be on the DC movie. Meanwhile, Gunn is returning as a director on the sets of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after briefly being sacked for some controversial tweets being unearthed. However, Gunn has reiterated time after time that this film will be his last in the series.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to release on May 5, 2023. It is the second Marvel film to release that year, the first being Ant-Man 3. The release date is still far in the future and nothing concrete is known about the movie except what has been revealed by Gunn himself and the cast members during interviews.
The main cast will be returning to the third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. The cast includes Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. The cast has been confirmed by James Gunn.
While Gunn didn’t mention it, it is safe to assume that Bradley Cooper will return as the voice of Rocket and Vin Diesel as Groot’s.

Gunn has yet again made a revelation about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In an interview with ComicBook, Gunn discussed the difference between his upcoming DC movie and the Guardians movie of MCU.
He said that the work process gone into the two films requires different parts of his directorial prowess. He said that the two movies make him use two different parts of his brain. He added that the Guardians movies are more geometric and this third installment in the franchise is just gigantic.
The filmmaker has a unique talent for hyping up his own projects by teasing some snippets without revealing any specific plot details. The Guardians of the Galaxy films are the most humorous films in the MCU and carry Gunn’s usually dark and quirky humor.
However, Gunn has recently teased that The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will have a comparatively heavier plot. He also confirmed in a recent interview, Gunn confirmed that the film would focus on Rocket’s traumatic origins.
The fans of the Guardian movies don’t have to wait to see their favorite characters till 2023 because the Guardians of the Galaxy are set to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder which will release in 2022.
There will also be a Holiday Special, which Gunn has said, will lead directly to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Since it is Gunn’s last time directing a Guardians movie, it is sure to be as big as Gunn has promised it would be.
