Zac Efron Is ‘So Grateful’ After First Emmy Win

Zac Efron Updates: The winners of the 2021 Daytime Emmy Awards were announced in the fields of fiction and lifestyle on Sunday. Zac Efron won the award for Outstanding Daytime Program Host.

This was the first-ever Emmy award that the actor took home in his career. The award recognizes Efron’s work on the Netflix documentary series Down to Earth with Zac Efron. It was his first-ever nomination as well. Winning an Emmy in the first-ever nomination is not what many people have achieved and Zac Efron is so grateful for the award that he took home on Sunday.

After the win, Efron shared his accomplishment on Instagram and shared his gratitude for those who supported him and helped him in the series and those who watched his series as well.

He also tweeted a picture of his accomplishment on Twitter and said he never expected to win an Emmy award and he went on to thank the people who supported him by helping him in the series and as well as those who watched his show.

The adventurous documentary series follows Efron and wellness expert Darin Olien when they visit foreign places to experience local customs and cuisine, as well as the spiritual experiences and the unique lifestyle of different localities. Season 2 of this series is expected to release in 2022.

Apart from Efron, Karrueche Tran won her first individual Daytime Emmy Award, winning for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Fiction Program for her role as Vivian Johnson on The Bay.

Tran has won three other Daytime Emmy Awards as part of the ensemble cast of The Bay, which won for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series in 2016, 2017, as well as in 2018.

There were lots of other winners as well at the event and we congratulate all of the winners who took a trophy home and also congratulate the nominees as well.
