POCO X3 GT India About To Launch, Is This Another Rebrand?

POCO X3 GT Updates: Rebranding and launching the same devices seems to have become a hobby for Xiaomi. Every now and then, the company tries to bring the same phone which it launched some days ago under a different brand. POCO X2 that was launched in India was basically a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 which was launched in China.

The rebranding game seems unnecessary sometimes. And this time, the POCO X3 GT India is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China. And so this device may feature 5G support. Every brand knows that users nowadays want a 5G phone. In other words, everyone wants their devices to be “future-proof”. And though Xiaomi India VP Manu Kumar Jain said earlier that 5G is overrated, now it seems that the brand he works for is taking the exact opposite direction. We all know that the Xiaomi VP brings out such comments every now and then to troll rival brands like realme and Samsung, but this time he has been shut up by what his own brand has done.

Anyways, let us now talk about this device. The POCO X3 GT is going to launch in India. POCO F3 GT would also be launching in India after the latter. Seems that finally, an F-series device is also coming from Redmi.

POCO X3 GT India About To Launch

The official support page of Xiaomi was seen having this new device recently. The original Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G was launched in China last week. Noted tipster Kacper Skrzypek, who has a decent track record of Xiaomi device leaks, recently posted a screenshot on Twitter that reportedly seems to have been taken from Xiaomi’s official support page. It reveals the existence of the new POCO X3 GT. Earlier, Kacper also tweeted about the fact that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China variant may also come to markets like India, Indonesia, Turkey, but rebranded as a POCO device. And therefore the POCO X3 GT launch in India could be on the cards and would be launching real soon.

The Chinese Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition could also be launching in India as POCO F3 GT by the third quarter of 2021.

Here are some of the specs of the POCO X3 GT India:

  • 6.6 inch FHD+ LCD Display with 120 Hz refresh rate
  • A Mediatek Dimensity 1100 SoC
  • 64MP+8MP+2MP Triple rear cameras
  • A 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging
