Devs Confirm Syphon Filter Connection in Days Gone

In an interview with the Screen Rant, Ront Allen, the Lead Designer of Days Gone has confirmed that Days Gone and Syphon Filter are indeed connected.

Days Gone, a Zombie game will feature specific Easter eggs which are related to a big franchise, Bend’s Studio. Bend confirmed in an interview with the Screen Rant that there is a real connection between the Days Gone and Syphon Filter. But the full connection is yet to be seen.

For those who are not familiar with Syphon Filter, it is a series of games that used to run from PS1 to PS2. The franchise has followed the Mission: Impossible agents for attempting to stop bioweapons and to save the world from the certain down. To imply there are many clues in Days Gone which shows that the Zombie game was a secret sequel series and which is a result of the other franchise’s heroes failing to save the day.

 As the sequence of Days Gone has been rejected by Sony, therefore fans will never be able to see the full connection. Fans can also feel vindicated knowing that the theories have weight. Days Gone’s Lead designer in an interview with the screenprint. He confirmed that Syphon Filter connection and doubled down on it when it was asked for the connection.

To explore this connection a little further, it’s also possible that a Hypothetical Days Gone 2, even if it is not the core focus of the story. A larger world has been built by Bend, and the studio has also confirmed that it has a lot of lore and answers to all the questions that the fans asked by writing down in some sort of document.

It seemed that currently Bend has been focused on delivering the new PC port of Days Gone Sequel, but right the ball is in Sony’s court. And there is a possibility that it will scrap all Bend’s working on the new sequence. But the fans are also demanding the sequel of Days Gone. But certainly, there is a chance that Bend is going to prove himself.
