Beasters Season 2 Updates: The Japanese manga series, Beasters was written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki. It was serialized from September 2016 to October 2020, with its chapters compiled in 22 volumes, and was published by Akita Shoten. The story revolves around a modern ,civilized world with animals having human traits, emotions and have innate tendency of human psychology. The animals had a society divided into herbivores and carnivores.
The manga was later adapted to a television series by Orange running from October to December 2019 on Fuji TV’s +Ultra program block. While the second season was released soon after and was aired from January to March 2021. The anime series is licensed by Japan with its first season premiered outside Japan in March 2020. Beasters has won a number of notable awards including the 11th Manga Taishō, The new creator prize at the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, the 42nd Kodansha Manga Award and the New Face Award at the Japan Media Arts Festival.

With the massive positive response from the audience regarding the first season, the makers are set to release the second season of the show as soon as possible. The second season was scheduled to be premiered in 2020. But due to the present scenario, with the pandemic at its peak, it wasn’t possible to organize the premier. Now, with the second season already been forecasted on Fuji TV Network in January 2021 it’s almost sure that it’ll be premiered on Netflix by July 2021. However, there hasn’t been any confirmed news about the release date.
