X-Men’s S.W.O.R.D. just took their first mutant from Arakko for a crucial role and which further lead to the humiliation of a hated mutant in the process.

Arakko mutants made a huge impact in the events as the armies were barely being held at bay by X-Men and other mutants. The first real post-X of Swords steps towards unity between the nations can be done. The space-based mutant group had just made Khora of the Burning Flame a powerful mutant assassin from Arakko into the Six.

This formation has led to a group of mutants who can now combine their powers together to find resources across the universe and has now great potential going forward. But that group includes one mutant that Abigail Brand has been excited to overshadow and that is Fabian Cortez who by the way is a former Magneto follower who was rebellious and always was out of control because he always had his own ambitions for the future of the mutants. Despite his drop-down selfish ideals and a shady attitude, Cortez’s mutant ability to enhance the powers of others made him an important part and a significant part for activation of the Six. The brand has quietly been looking for a replacement, and now she’s finally found one from an unexpected source.
Powerful Mutant Recruit in X-Men
Speaking with the Council Named as Quiet Council to try and get them to nullify laws against killing humans, Cortez argues for selfish reasons. He even claims that without him, there could be no Six and therefore deserves the respect.
He is shocked to discover another reason for this Quiet Council meeting and the agenda was the introduction of Khora of the Burning Heart, and the new addition or say omission to S.W.O.R.D. She not only has the assassin skills but her mutant ability is an enhanced life force that is burning flame within her chest which makes her extremely powerful. She can actually share her flame with others. Going forward and fully replace Cortez within the Six.
Her powers already being shown to be strong enough to make Amelia Voght capable of transporting people across the entire galaxy. It ensures that S.W.O.R.D. can continue their work without worrying about Cortez. The only mutant who gets affected after is Cortez, who ends up humiliated in the process, and Charles Xavier throwing insults in the process.
