The Girl on the Train, starring Parineeti Chopra, is the latest film to be released exclusively on OTT platforms. The film will be released on Netflix on February 26th, according to the actress. She also unveiled the film’s primary trailer. Ribhu Dasgupta directs The Girl on the Train, a Bollywood version of Paula Hawkins’ 2015 bestseller.

During her everyday commutes on the train, Meera (played by Parineeti Chopra), who is fixated on the right lives of a few from afar, is followed by The Girl on the Train. She witnesses something out of the ordinary one day that surprises her. The film follows her as she attempts to piece together the facts. The film is set in the United Kingdom. The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, and Avinash Tiwary, in addition to Parineeti. A Hollywood adaptation of The Girl on the Train, starring Emily Blunt and directed by Tate Taylor, is also available. It came out in 2016.
What Did Parineeti Have To Say About The Movie
Parineeti Chopra filmed in London last year for Ribhu Dasgupta’s Hindi remake of The Girl on the Train. Parineeti took to social media after the film was completed to say goodbye to her character. Parineeti described the experience as “life-altering,” and said the character would stay with her forever. She penned, “So, after finishing The Girl On The Train, I leave London after 7 weeks. I’m at a loss for words. I’m overwhelmed with emotions.
This is a film that, for the first time, has stuck with me since I’ve seen it. a charisma that will always be a part of me I’m missing her. I miss having the opportunity to play with her. I’d like to think I’ve matured. I’m in a lot of pain. But most importantly, I am thankful. In an ironic twist, my life is changing…”

Upcoming Films From Parineeti
Parineeti Chopra will appear in another Ribhu Dasgupta film, the title of which has yet to be revealed. She can be seen in the movie as a spy. The actress is currently waiting for Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar to be released.
The movie was supposed to come out in March 2020. However, because of the novel coronavirus pandemic, the theatres stayed closed, the film’s release was postponed. The producers are yet to decide on a new release date for the movie, which also stars Arjun Kapoor in the lead role. Parineeti is also working on a biopic about badminton champion Saina Nehwal.
