Cyberpunk 2077 anime: Developers confirm Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime coming to Netflix in 2022

Cyberpunk Edgerunners Updates: Not all the bad news for the CD Projekt Red, the creators of the amine Cyberpunk 2077. Despite a very shaky start to the game, polish developers are trying to establish a powerful statement.

There have been a lot of glitches in the game that have irritated the fans of the game. It also contributed to Sony allowing players to return to the game get a refund from the creators.

All this is not going to pull down the amazing game that’s Cyberpunk 2077, and hopefully, we’ll have an anime spinoff of a dynamic science-fiction game. Dubbed Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the anime will be developed by Studio Trigger, which is famous for the development of Little With Academy. 

IGN, given a confirmation about the news by posting a tweet about the collaboration between Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red.

As per the information from the latest press release about the game, Edgerunners, “ Tells a stand-alone, a story of a street kid struggling to live in a body-modification and technology-obsessed community of the future containing ten episodes. Having everything to lose, he decides to remain alive by being a border runner—a mercenary criminal also known as cyberpunk.”

If everything will go according to the schedule, cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be available for the viewers of Netflix in the year 2022. CD Projekt Red is going to produce this amine series.

The amine Edgerunners will be set in Night City, which is a part of the game. However, the amine is all about the new set of characters and we all have a different story from the amine Cyberpunk 2077.

The amine Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be directed by one of the founders of Studio Trigger named Hiroyuki Imaishi.  In his quote, he said, “We at TRIGGER are excited to collaborate with CD Projekt Red to create a brand-new story set in the highly awaited Cyberpunk 2077 universe. It’s a big obstacle to translate this world to an anime, but we’re ready to face it head-on.”
