Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye Hints at SHIELD return in MCU with new Photos

Spoilers of Hawkeye: The return of a large Marvel party to Hawkeye has been teased by Jeremy Renner. After its coronavirus pandemic-related postponement, the Disney+ TV spin-off is finally back in progress, and it now seems almost inevitable that the series will delve into the former relations of Hawkeye/Clint Barton with SHIELD.

Or, to form new ones.

On Sunday (January 31), posting to Instagram, Jeremy teased the return of the covert agency by sharing a picture of his character with the SHIELD insignia decorated on his quiver.

Jeremy captioned the message, “A good day is done,”

The photo also has Jeremy wearing a hearing aid as well as signposting SHIELD’s return to the MCU, providing more hints as to what the series has in store.

The 2012 Hawkeye comic by Matt Fraction and David Aja saw Clint go deaf, and it seems the series could carry on that track.

Elsewhere, the series is poised to pursue the Manhattan-based Avenger and train Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) to become the next Hawkeye, thus somehow introducing his alter-ego superhero Ronin.

In the movie, Florence Pugh and Vera Farmiga will also star.

Hawkeye will be going to premiere on Disney+. The  Avengers: Endgame is also available for streaming on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D, 4K, and digital, and it is also available on Disney+ for streaming.
