Samsung Galaxy S21 Updates: In several markets, including India, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series is now available. It also has a discounted starting price for the base version in some nations.

New data shows that there could be one more version that would be much cheaper in the works. All three versions in the Galaxy S21 family, regardless of the chipset powering them, are only available in 5G varieties.

As a new variant with the model number SM-G990F has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG site, that may be about to change. The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G has the model number SM-G991X for meaning, suggesting that in terms of placement, the new system will still fit under it.

Notable leakster Roland Quandt also spoke about the Samsung Galaxy S21 4G back in November, saying that it will be intended for pricing-sensitive markets such as Brazil.

As neither the Snapdragon 888 nor the Exynos 2100 have the 5G modem as an optional feature, it is also uncertain how a lower price can be obtained. Unless a custom version is made, a new chipset would have to be selected all together.

Different specs to the current Galaxy S21, including a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass Victus protection, are required if the phone sees the light of day.

The remainder of the body will be made of plastic polycarbonate, but at least the dust and water resistance will be IP68-rated. There should be a similar triple camera array with a main 12MP f/1.8 optically stabilized camera, a 120-degree field-of-view 12MP ultra-wide photographer, and a 3x zoom capable 64MP telephoto lens. It is expected that the selfie shooter will have a 10MP resolution.

If an inferior chipset is used, features such as 8K video capture could be axed. With support for 25W rapid charging and 15W wireless charging, the smartphone has a 4,000mAh battery. It runs on One UI 3.1 based on Android 10, out-of-the-box.

In India, the base version with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and the Exynos 2100 chipset starts at Rs 69,999. The Samsung Galaxy S21 uses Android 11-based One UI 3.1 and carries 128 GB of built-in storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is a smartphone that supports Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards for dual-SIM (GSM and GSM). The Samsung Galaxy S21 measures (height x width x thickness) 151.70 x 71.20 x 7.90 mm and weighs 171.00 grams.

It was released in the shade of Ghost Violet. It has a dust and water safety IP68 score. The Samsung Galaxy S21’s networking options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/Yes, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).
