Losing Alice: Apple Boards Israeli Drama Series

Losing Alice Updates: With Apple adding another international co-production to its house, and has boarded the Israeli’s thriller series “Losing Alice” produced by Israeli Dori Media Productions and has got association with the HOT.

The series has got eight episodes and is currently streaming on HOT and very soon will be streaming worldwide through Apple TV Plus. The absolutely thrilling series hails from the creator Sigal  Avin who is involved in the series from direction to writing.

The series follows Alice, a 48 years old film director who feels somehow irrelevant since raising her family.

The character Alice is played by Ayelet Zurer in the series.  She somehow becomes obsessed after a brief encounter with the femme-fatale, 24 years old Sophie on the Train.

The character Sophie is played by Lihi Kornowski in the series. And in order to achieve Power, relevance and success eventually, she lost her moral integrity.

With Apple announced for co-producing of the other Thriller series Tehran, earlier this month. Losing Alice becomes its second deal with Israeli co-production in recent weeks.

As it is also currently working on Suspicion, which too is based on an Israeli series “False Flag” which Stars Uma Thurman, the streamer seems to be quite interested in the Israeli’s content.

Also, Various other international shows that include Pachinko, based on the Min Jin Lee novel of the same name, “Shantaram” starring Charlie Hunnam and based on the Gregory David Robert novel of the same name, “Slow Horses” starring Gary Oldman,” and “Masters of the Air” from Amblin Television and Playtone.

It was also exclusively reported by Variety in May, that Apple also recently acquired the Gal Gadot-led Hedy Lamarr series from writer and executive producer Sarah Treem.

The series would be consisting of eight episodes, following the story of Lamarr’s life, also including her escape from pre-war Vienna and her life as an Inventor.
