Anne with an E being one of the most underrated period pieces in the giant library of Netflix is having news of its another season. This series is based on the story of Anne of Green Gables, which is Montgomery’s classic work of children’s literature. This show airs on CBC and created by Moira Walley-Beckett.

The protagonist of this show, Anne Shirley is played by Amybeth McNulty, Geraldine will be in the show as Marilla, and R.H. Thomas will be filling screens as Matthew Cuthbert, Dalila Bela stars as Diana Barry along with Lucas Zumann as Gilbert Blythe.
We all know that season 3 of this show has released in the month of September of 2019, which is more than a year, and fans are wondering why there is no update on the next season.
Will there be any upcoming season?
There is news that a report from Netflix says not to continue the show and cancel upcoming seasons, (maybe because of poor ratings). Though the season has no proper conclusion at the end of season 3 and a sudden notice of cancellation has let the fans for a heat break. As far as the notice, it seems that Anne with an E is not going to come up with the newer season.
This left the fans with major disappointment, they took this to Twitter creating a trend and showing their anger and hope of continuation. The cancellation of the show was a shock for many fans, as the show seemingly doing very well in the parts of Canada.
There is no particular reason given by the Netflix official for canceling the show, but a report by Good Housekeeping doubts it has something to do with the improper relations between Netflix and CBC, who were the joint producers of the show.
With an immediate release of season 3, a piece of news comes out that CBC will no longer partner with Netflix. This ultimately means there will be no season 4 of Anne with an E.
This news is confirmed by one of the show’s producers, Miranda de Pencier, through her Instagram post. In her post, she said, it will be tough to let go of love, which they received from the show, but the show is having no probability to happen.
So, to all Anne and E fans, it is to be accepted that the show is no more coming with another season.
