Bordertown Season 3: Kari and Lena Relationship Make A Disappointment To Fans

Bordertown Season 3 Updates: The recent season of this award-winning show leaves viewers with a throb in the heart – it could be some time before you can investigate this exquisite piece of the world once more.

Shot during the savage winter of Lappeenranta which is a Finnish lake city, 30 km from the Russian fringe, Season 3 of the police procedural highlighting free thinker boss specialist Kari Sorjonen is a visual treat.

Bordertown Season 3 spoiler:

Bordertown may be a crime of procedure at its heart, but it has also been investigating the fundamental chemistry between two genius police officers.

If Kari is gifted and thrives on her mental ability, Lena is a stronger and bolder partner. Yet they’ve never been a crime-solving pair like Sherlock and Dr. Watson.

Let’s back up a bit and head back to when the story of Kari Sorjonen and Lena Jaakkola starts. They began with conflicting views, challenging each other’s approaches and being critical.

How Kari and Lena’s Relationship Disappoints Fans?

Bordertown Season 3

Eventually, they sought a common way, cautiously and steadily learning to become allies that would solve the most blood-curdling murders in Lappeenranta and bring offenders to justice.

In season 3, we wanted their relationship to be the highlight of the season as they contend with an all-new sequence of grisly murders and rescue a quiet town in the middle of such dark crimes.

Yet, contrary to what we had wished for, the third and final seasons were barely discovering their working chemistry. In reality, Lena didn’t have enough time on the screen as you might imagine. It seems that her position in Kari’s career and SCU’s crime-solving efforts had been diminished.

After Kari manages to arrest Maasalo and save the city from a deadly water poisoning attack, Lena is given a mission in Poland. But she declines, citing Kari as her excuse. She thinks he wants her by his side, and she’s expected to sit back in Lappeenranta.

On the other hand, Kari begins to see a psychiatrist and begins to struggle with his mental health problems, and when the therapist asks him for a support group on which he might focus through this shift, he remembers no one but Lena.

This proves that the two detectives have now reached the point that they can call each other “friends” or something more. But think we’re never going to know where they stand. Season 3 of the Bordertown series has total 10 episodes and premiered on Netflix. The Audience was more excited to watch this series. For more updates stay tuned.
