In the cast , recurring names have been narrowed down to  Kandi Buruss , Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams Kenya Moore and new addition Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali tagging along as  a Friend Of the housewives, after a few taking a leave from the show in the earlier seasons.

Joye Chin, an executive producer on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has been exclusively listing Black trainees in the reality series for a number of years.

Chin, who has worked for producer and runs the company’s Atlanta production office, has taken upon herself to flourish the diversity in the cast; giving minority candidates residing in and around Atlanta the chance to take the central stage in that unscripted business.

They have upgraded to a producer training program taking after the DGA Trainee Program where they appoint a trainee each season and tie them up with a story producer to mentor them in producing which impressed the runners of Truly Original to hand out some more resources to the program.

Chin said, “What’s so impactful about what we’re now doing is that it’s not a traditional ‘internship’ program offer the critical access to the inner circle of influence, which is what really helps people rise in this industry.”

And Truly Original which remains to be the producer of Bravo’s shows plan to roll it out further across other shows and areas.
