Aggretsuko Season 4 Update: 2020 has indeed been a year of patience. Fans are ardently waiting for the next batch of the Japanese animation series. The 4th season of the anthology was expected to be launched this year but the pandemic paused all activities across the world.
COVID-19 dropped all shutters and caused irreparable damages to the world. The nodus brought along with 2020; imprisoned every human to pause their commitments for an indefinite time.

The show revolved around a red eponymous panda, Retsuko; who is a 25 old year female. She works in a Japanese trading company as an accountant. The teenager faces pressure from 21st-century adults and thus turns to be a karaoke addict to shake off her stress. Years pass by and Retsuko adapts to the environment but failure falls midway and puts her in a jeopardy. Her social anxiety combined with her naïveté causes her to get into far more trouble than she expects, in life-threatening ways.
The show’s first season was released in 2018 and the second in 2019 followed by the third in 2020. So it is predicted that the firm would follow the traditionary 1-year pattern and release the next chapter in 2021.
The last season features Retsuko encountered by a toxic fan. Hyodo discovers that the toxic fan who accosted Retsuko also maintains a fake social media account of the singing idol. Later Retsuko’s personal details are posted via the fake account and Retsuko falls into trouble. The berserk fan attacks Retsuko in broad daylight; Haida comes to her rescue and saves her. During the tussle, she’s hurt and unconscious.
Haida expresses his feeling for the singing idol and that’s it. Haida her co-worker, working together for 5 years. The show came to a pause. Retsuko denies accepting his proposal and the world is in dilemma; what next?
