Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to celebrate their first Christmas in California as stated by a source close to them. The special holiday will be celebrated in their new Montecito mansion for the first time.

The reason for the same was stated as they don’t want to take any risk during this COVID-19 pandemic so they won’t be flying back to the Prince’s native place England. It will be a big change for Prince Harry because he’s used to a cold Christmas. However, he’s eagerly looking forward to making new traditions.
They had stepped down as senior royals earlier this year but will continue doing video calls with Harry’s family and friends overseas to stay connected just like lots of other families will. The couple would have traveled back to the U.K. to spend time with their family and friends but the current situation makes it difficult for them to travel back.

The couple was spotted shopping for their Christmas tree near their California home in December where one small child came up to Harry and asked if he worked there not knowing who that is’ The staff of the shop said that “They seem like very nice people honestly,”
