The film plot follows around a couple called Martha and Sean Carron on their parenthood who lives change irreversible at the time of home birth, who faced criminal failure.
Thus begins her emotional journey then, navigate through fractions relationships with her husband and her domineering mother, down with public interest run down midwife whom she next faces in court.
During a recent post-screening Q and A hosted by Netflix, Kirby shared her feeling that how important the films sequence to her and getting into the characters. Kirby also confessed that she scared by the possibility of doing a birth that edited and cut up scenes.
