To The Lake season 2 Update: The fresh Russian horror drama graced Netflix this fall season and rumors have it that the show has already been renewed for a season 2 and will be on Netflix soon.
The perfectly timed Netflix Original that is titled ‘Epidemic’ in Russian has just hit Netflix after we are all trying to get through the coronavirus pandemic that has caused havoc over the world. The horror originally premiered in Russia between November 2019 and January 2020 and then went on to the global audience.
Though this Russian horror did not get a massive opening on Netflix, it was on the top 10s for several days since this Halloween season starting from October 8, 2020, and also earned a place in US Top 10 for 4 days and UK Top 10 for 9 days. Overall, the series performed immensely well keeping in mind its humble premiere.
We cannot assure the readers as we say this because as of now, the figure has not been verified but it is said that the series was picked by Netflix for 1.5 Million.

Russia’s TriColorTVMag has said that the Russian horror show has already been renewed for a second installment.
As per sources, the storyline for the second season of the show has already been fixed but sadly enough, though we have a story, the shooting of the second season will not be starting until next year and even then we cannot expect to see ‘To the Lake’ Season 2 by next year’s fall.
Also, the story will only be available to the international audience when the show has completely aired in Russia and fans may expect to keep in ‘To Watch List’ in the fall of 2022 but nothing can be said with confirmation as of now.
So, even though we know that we will surely be getting a second season of the chilling horror, we cannot be sure as to when we will be able to watch it, especially ‘To the Lake’ fans outside Russia.
