Onyx Equinox: The Crunchyroll Update: ‘It’s Dark,’ Halloween Blood Trailer Crunchyroll has released a dark and bloody trailer for its upcoming anime, Onyx Equinox – just in time for Halloween

At the right time of the spookiest day of the year, Crunchyroll has released a new trailer for its upcoming anime, Onyx Equinox. Appropriately for Halloween, the trailer is full of action sprinkled with blood, mocking a much darker tone than the previous release.

Onyx Equinox: The Crunchyroll Trailer Titled:

Titled “Dark Trailer,” the new video shows its young character, Izel, in the light of an adult, as he struggles to survive in an Aztec-inspired world of monsters and gods.

Sofia Alexander, founder and presenter of the programs said “We will go with Izel as he is forced to save the world he does not believe he has a place, he comes face to face with the darkness in the world and within him.”

The series is the latest anime of Crunchyroll Original, following current Noblesse and The recently completed The God of High School, as well as The Tower of God, which released Spring and In / Specter last year, which aired last winter.

Created by major producer and showwoman Sofia Alexander, the Onyx Equinox kicks off only on November 21 at Crunchyroll. Along with English, it will also be called Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German at launch.

Ahead of the series’ premiere next month, Crunchyroll also released an extended synopsis of Onyx Equinox.

The gods are fighting for the future of mankind, and an Aztec boy named Izel finds himself caught in the middle of a dangerous game. In order to save humanity, he must complete an impossible task – to close the five gates of the underworld.

Izel agrees with hesitation, but only after learning his quest and that it will fix a terrible tragedy. His journey to becoming a human champion will be one of hope and despair, of trust and betrayal, in which Izel must face his darkness and decide that the human race – with all its shortcomings and opposition – deserves to be preserved.
