I Am Greta: Why we need Children’s life stories as I Am Greta

I Am Greta Updates: I am Greta’, is another biographical film under the direction of Nathan Grossman. This week marks the release of this biographical presentation in form of a film.

‘I am Greta’ seems to follow Thumberg across 2018 and 2019. As she comes out a shining star with a well-known name all around the world. The film reflects a close relation and collaboration between Grossman and Thunberg.

The audience and viewers can easily access all that she had to her life during that time. Critics just claim that they are not able to mark the impression of real Greta in the film or story.

Grossman seems to keep too much distance between the movie and Greta’s life. He somewhat not seems to devel adequately into Thumberg’s life, childhood, and family. The explanation of her origin in activism is somewhat left a dull impression.

I Am Greta: is it a Biography

These types of hypes in critics reflect a narrow perspective regarding the working of biographical story telling. I am Greta is another contemporary life story that not seems to be a “great man” model biography. In which the story mainly centers around the political and colonial achievements of the so-called “great man”.

Despite telling about her early life and family. I am Greta centers majorly on Thumberg’s voice. Ultimately her words and image at a particular moment in history or her past.

The main focus is on how a young activist develops these interests independently. Rather than depicting inspired Thumberg to acquire knowledge and achievements.

I am Greta just advice to think out of the box and differently, not just regarding Thumberg. Her father speculates because of her photographic memory. Greta likely knows about climatic changes much more than 97% that politicians know.

Some critics also criticize that she is represented just as a parent’s puppet. But these types of accusations are just common.  Several other female activists like Yousafzai, Emma Gonzalez, Isadora Faber, and many others. Thumberg seems to herself readily circulate some parts of history on various sovolaedia platforms.

These types of biographies are just too inspiring and worth a watch. Though might seem somewhat boring initially when one develops interest can easily devel deeper into them.
