Chicago PD Season 8: Actor Jason Beghe Shares how they will address police brutality and other issues

Chicago PD Season 8 Updates: This American police procedural television series is the second installment in the middle of Chicago Fire and  Chicago Med and the subsequent Chicago Justice cumulatively making the Chicago franchise in its entirety.

Created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead for the NBC network with its pilot airing on January 8, 2014, and has been assiduously shot for seven seasons logging up to 148 episodes until now.

On this Feb 27th, the series was reconditioned for three more consecutive sequels side by side with its spin-off Chicago Med and Chicago Fire allowing the triad to share the same release date for their follow-ups.

When is Chicago PD Season 8 stated to arrive?

The show spotlights on the fictitious 21st Precinct that houses patrol officers and the elite  Intelligence Unit, headed by Detective Sergeant Hank Voight as they perpetuate tracking down the city’s felonies. It will return to screen labeling the present-day social conflicts on November 11, 2020.

Lead actor Jason Beghe who characterizes Hank Voight let out that the Black Lives Movement originating from the murder of George Floyd at the hands of the police and the long-standing racial inequalities will be highlighted in this chapter.

During a talk session of their patron, Wolf Entertainment Unscripted YouTube series, he spoke out

“I think we feel a certain sense of responsibility to address these issues, which is fun and challenging. Thankfully we have good writers and good advisors. I’m really proud of our first scripts, I hope they’re not only entertaining. We’re trying, without being grandiose, to be useful .”

He further illustrated that the long unconventional breach post the S7 finale gave the whole resource team a drive to reflect on what would be the following mission. The cast and the writers talked through adapting the police brutality and the racism scenario for the screen.

The actor pronounced that it would pick up from the finale episode with the police office encountering a Black man, so it is a “perfect segue”;” We are continuing from there and drawing out bigger things “.It will showcase Detective  Sergeant Hank Voight evaluating his stance as police and how the community needs to be cured of this discrepancy towards the Black Community.

There may be offended people, there may be new fans; Who knows what’s going to happen but we’re going in both barrels blazing.”
