Secrets of the Saqqara Tomb: Netflix Release Date

‘Saqqara Tomb Secrets’ will be available for streaming on Netflix on Wednesday, October 28, at 12 a.m. PST.

Secrets of Saqqara Tomb ‘is a documentary that follows a team of archaeologists as they discover burial artifacts in an ancient tomb that has not yet been discovered in Saqqara, Egypt. In 2018, a 4,400-year-old tomb was reportedly discovered in Saqqara, Egypt’s largest ancient burial site, serving as the necropolis of Egypt’s ancient capital, Memphis. Saqqara has many pyramids, including a pyramid known as the Djoser Step, sometimes called the Stomp Tomb because of its rectangular base, and many mastaba tombs.

In 2018, an elaborate and elaborate tomb was discovered by a man from ancient Egypt who influenced Wahtye in Saqqara. The owner of the tombs served King Nefirirkare, who ruled during the fifth kingdom of the Old Kingdom. In addition to the name of the deceased, hieroglyphs engraved on the stone above the entrance to the tomb reveal his identity: a royal cleansing priest, a royal officer, and an inspector of the sacred boat.

Recently, a total of 27 sarcophagi were found buried more than 2,500 years ago in Saqqara cemetery and are said to be one of the largest finds of this kind. It is expected that these findings will form the crux of the Netflix document.

The secrets of Saqqara Tomb ‘are directed by James Tovell. Tovell is best known for his work in ‘Cradle to Grave’, ‘Size Matters’, ‘The Lizard Boy’ and ‘I Am a Killer’.
